Funny seeing this on here, as Jake von Wurden is the younger brother of an old friend of mine, and a buddy to me as well. I remember when he got his first bass! (As opposed to when he got to first base).

Yeah, I used to jam at his house, going back to grade 8. He and his bro always had pretty serious chops. I haven't seen him play in years, though.

Yes indeed. Josh and I were pretty good friends in my middle/high school days in Nepean. I still see him from time to time when I make it home, and he and in invariably sequester ourselves at whatever gathering we happen to be at so that we can geek out about whatever we're listening to at that point in our lives.
