is one possibility. (I strongly recommend using earplugs for this show, though. Mavericks has a new PA, and the one or two times I've been there for shows after they've installed it they've run it loud.)

is another possibility, with a brief discussion about it here.

Aloha,

Agreed, avoid the Carleton under those circumstances. If you follow Northern Wishes' advice to kick around the market, you might want to check out the Laff (Chateau-Lafayette) which is just across from The Dom. Ottawa's oldest bar and sometimes you can score for some good music there. I know you are looking for something tonight, but if you can squeeze in tomorrow afternoon, you'll catch Lucky Ron who is an Ottawa staple.

Well this is happening there tonight then.

Eternity Pocket

Building on their cross-Canada collaborations, Ryan Butler and Jack Litster are Eternity Pocket, a fresh project built to generate deep groove music based on funk, folk, and electronic music.

Using electric guitar and drumkit-percussion, their live performances weave a snug and timeless pocket of eternity.

Tom Curry

Tom Curry is a graduate of fun and good times at StFX University in Antigonish Nova Scotia. With musical beginnings as a high school talent show star and eventually university music program delinquent, Tom's mix of energy, lyrical ability and overall good nature make him a proud product of Antigonish Nova Scotia.
