Festival season hits Ottawa

Good to hear about EB.

The last time I saw them, their new batch of songs fell very flat. I heard they ditched the whole batch of them and wrote another round for the new album which comes out soon.

Only caught the last few EC songs, but oh my lord did Elliot Brood ever bring down that OLG tent. Wow, fantastic show by those three, superb energy and the stage invasion was classic! One of the best shows of this year, on my list.

I would have liked to check out Elliott Brood but it took us a while to find the entrance to the tent and once we did, we weren't happy with the line-up, especially not knowing if they sold booze inside...did they?

I got there during the last song of EC's encore, so there was no lineup. I didn't think it was too bad when it did get moving and there was ample standing or sitting room for whatever your preference.

Yes, they were selling booze.
