AD
Jesus. I've seen these guys opening for people at Babylon and Barrymore's. Well done. Too bad you'll never play clubs again though.
edger
Yeah, pretty incredible growth. That must be tough to maintain a grip...guess the money would help.
phishtaper
They are a fantastic band ... but they will never sell out some of those venues. Looks like they have been swept into the vortex of greedy promoters and tour management companies.
Northern Wish
Looks like they have been swept into the vortex of greedy promoters and tour management companies. You missed a great interview with the Keys on Q yesterday. They went into great detail on their views on selling out and this clearly doesn't cross the line from what they were saying yesterday. And I agree with their sentiments. Jaimoe
If the new album blows up big, they could be able to sell out some arenas. Look at what happened with Mumford and Sons and those fucking sickening pukes KOL. As for them playing larger venues, it helps that they occassionally play with an expanded lineup. edger
It sure feels like its been a long time since I've been to Molson Amph. Maybe since Plant & Krauss? They used to be frequent frequent stomping grounds...I wish they still brought in some of the acts they used to. This might just get me back there
