I'm calling Sandro Perri the winner, closely followed by Japandroids, Handsome Furs, Patrick Watson, Joel Plaskett, Bahamas, Cadence Weapon and Feist. I should listed to more of the list though, probably only heard about half the albums listed.(How is Cadence Weapon's album eligible? Eligibility period ended the day after his album came out - enough people heard it and loved it enough to get it on the long list in a day? Or were there THAT MANY advance copies out there?)
