  1. That is why this is such a joke. TBastard tries to spin it so that they are doing US a favour by "competing" with scalpers. Huh? If one is competing with scalpers, then one is doing business as a scalper. This is not an attempt to STOP scalping, it's simply an effort to get the profits that scalpers are making and getting them back to TBastard. I highly doubt any of the artists will be seeing any increased revenue from these tactics whatsoever. Fuck you again TBastard.
  2. I watched the first episode a couple of nights ago. Definitely has promise and I will stick with this for sure. Beautifully shot. There are a LOT of characters and it will take a little time to remember who's connected to who and where they are. Watch the title sequence animation. Aside from being really cool, it lays out a map of the world that this all takes place in. Will your wife like it? I dunno. Mine was good with it. It's not as fluffy as Tudors by any means, but there's eye candy for them too. A little beheading in the opening sequence should be about the worst of it. Get her past that and you're golden
  3. Just in case anyone is interested http://hotfile.com/list/1670580/2d3b959
  4. hahaha!! THAT is funny Booche, good to see you've got some humour in ya after last night's game. Missed most of the game since i was running around getting goalie equipment for my daughter :dazed: However, that third period was great. Exciting hockey end to end. That spin-around goal from the corner was cool.
  5. Sooooooo IN ! Just got to work and I can't wait to get outta here and head to The Hammer pre-show drinks??
  6. ^^^^ nice one Really am shocked at how pathetic the B's have looked so far. They can't blame it all on the absences of Chara and Savard either. They are folding like mad. Full props to the Habs and how Martin has gotten full buy-in from his team and how they have not hiccuped so far.
  7. First time I saw him he was with Lenny Kravitz @ Massey Hall on the Mama Said tour. Didn't realize it at the time, just dug the horn section. Many years later learned about the Greyboy Allstars and his solo bands and totally dug his various styles. Sadly, he doesn't come around these parts very often, so this Hillside gig is a real treat. Gotta love it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iIIns4UETEQ A friend of mine from high school married Lenny's guitarist right around that time too. No idea if they are still together (they were in 1999 at my high school 10 year reunion and he was there ... the guitarist, not Lenny )
  8. Never give up. You just never know. Especially once they get the film gear in there they may open up a few more seats/rows I got in when they went on sale, but I couldn't take the hit on tix and risk losing the ones that they were supposedly pulling for me with the membership. Still haven't heard what I got Kinda spooked. Neil Neil Neil Neil Neil Neil Neil Neil Neil Neil
  9. I know somebody who'd take 'em. I emailed them the details.
  10. Wonder where the rest of this is?
  11. ^^^^ that was a killer show. Hey, some people are willing to pay, others are not. Everyone has their reasoning. I look to justify the spending sometimes. By that, I mean I can look at big bucks on one show and then add to it about two or three that are much cheaper/free and average out the costs. Most of the time I still fill like I'm coming out ahead. One man gathers what another man spills ... 12. sweet! better than going to see The Bills
  13. Next week I will be "slappin' da (air) bass" from the floor in Hamilton. This remaster sounds f'in SWEET! RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUSH!!! http://bit.ly/ej9toi Rush – Moving Pictures (2011 Remaster) Not only is 1981′s Moving Pictures Rush’s best album, it is undeniably one of the greatest hard rock albums of all time. The new wave meets hard rock approach of Permanent Waves is honed to perfection — all seven of the tracks are classics (four are still featured regularly in concert and on classic rock radio). While other hard rock bands at the time experimented unsuccessfully with other musical styles, Rush were one of the few to successfully cross over. The whole entire first side is perfect — their most renowned song, “Tom Sawyer,†kicks things off, and is soon followed by the racing “Red Barchetta,†the instrumental “YYZ,†and a song that examines the pros and cons of stardom, “Limelight.†And while the second side isn’t as instantly striking as the first, it is ultimately rewarding. The long and winding “The Camera Eye†begins with a synth-driven piece before transforming into one of the band’s more straight-ahead epics, while “Witch Hunt†and “Vital Signs†remain two of the trio’s more underrated rock compositions. Rush proved with Moving Pictures that there was still uncharted territory to explore within the hard rock format, and were rewarded with their most enduring and popular album. - Allmusic mp3@V0 Tracklist 01. Tom Sawyer – 4:34 02. Red Barchetta – 6:08 03. YYZ – 4:24 04. Limelight – 4:21 05. The camera eye – 10:57 06. Witch hunt – 4:44 07. Vital signs – 4:47 http://bit.ly/ej9toi
  14. Exactly. It was a fantastic example of a team going into a game with a very precise game plan that all players buy-in to, and then execute it. Boston was struggling and lost any focus. The forced turnover that Gomez caused and the ensuing assist on the go-ahead goal was amazing. That is the kind of drive and effort I love seeing from a player. Boston does not want to leave town without tying this series up. I think the next game is going to be a killer
  15. Got a phone call from Massey Hall today. Fingers crossed that I'm pretty sure I got IN. I'll find out for sure tomorrow. Was told they only got 10% of what they normally get for membership seating!
  16. This is so how the way it is.
