  1. Take heed of this warning folks. I noted this thread and thought I'd better back up. But I didn't. Suddenly my hard drive is really cooked... I've retreived some stuff from it. Day three of the data recovery is still underway. I'm now 20 hours into a spinrite recovery scan, and it's only 51% percent done... It's bringing some sectors back to life though...

The real puzzle is what happened... Outlook just started messing up then I couldn't even start. During one boot there was report of a rootkit. However it kind of seems like that wasn't it. Spinrite is suggesting physical damage to the sectors.

Back up your stuff so you won't be a sucka!

  2. I think the shit is really starting to hit the fan and a lot is going to happen over the next few months...

The speaker of the house referred to the US being in a state of marshal law, and we all know what that means... The US has also stationed 4000 troops in the US, to quell any civil uprisings. Police state here we come!

Things are going to happen pretty fast now until 2012...

Will the UFOs show themselves on October 14th? Or will something else big happen on that date? Will there still be a US election?

Keep you eyes peeled, I think things are about to get real interesting...

  3. I had fun at the Shade's Mills course. But I hear it's pretty bad in the summer when it's overgrown...

For those in the K/W area, the guelph course "Sugar Magnolia" is probably the best option for now.

  4. Big Fat Burrito in Kensington is awesome. I was a bit skeptical, but when I dug in, it blew my mind...

By comparison, New York sub is like a bit of plain chicken on wonder bread with ketchup...

I haven't had the chance the try El Adasor yet, but it looks and smells amazing. Apparently the chorizo burrito is the best. Definitely have to make a point to get over there...

  5. A lot of the flyers are delivered by your mail carriers too. They get like a cent and a half per flyer. Even though you are screwing them out of money the general consensus is that there are too many damn flyers for the mail folks to deliver and they would be just fine with you opting out, and in fact would prefer so. I think you just have to contact the post office and tell them no flyers.

That won't eliminate all of them, just the ones that come through Canada Post. And your carrier will probably thank you.

  6. Wow, Lemonwheel! Man what an amazing adventure that was! :)

We got super searched coming across the border. I'd never had to do the empty pockets, empty wallet, full body frisk thing before! I can't believe I also got something across. Close call and good lesson...

The garden of infinite pleasantries indeed! It all went off in good fashion. There was even a disco bus that played all night. Truly wild, I love the circus!

    Tower Jam!

  7. From my research gold is going to keep going up... Silver is the better deal right now though.

Really you can't go wrong with metals... You can take a gold coin or bar anywhere in the world and still be able to trade it for goods or cash. It is the real global currency and it's pretty safe.

    IMHO
