I was in Korea. Going without a contract is great if you know people there and have a place to stay, just showing up without knowing anyone and no work might not be a great idea. I went without a job, but I had a place to stay, it still took me about 2 months to secure good work, a lot of B.S. before that. It would be different if I was to go back. I would def. get private teaching jobs on the side but wait till you get your bearings. Depending on what size you are, I was a size 7-8 when I was there and sometimes could only fit into their biggest size, I don't have hang ups about this stuff, but my kids would laugh and call me fat (OOohh Teacha, so fat today hehehehe), almost daily (just a heads up)....bring under 'garments, I had a hard time finding anything without major frills If you like to cook, bring some spices, they only have 3, hot, hotter and hottest (not really, but bring curry, cumin, etc.)...if I can think of anything else, I will post it...and go to the bath houses, it's what I miss the most...

It's your internal clock...and it is better for you to get up for a bit then go back to sleep. I can normally fall back asleep if I rest in bed for a while...it's the worst after a good late night of drinking and waking up at 7-8AM feeling crappy and all you want to do is sleep...

this is just weird.

HA yeah I've seen this, it's so funny, all those crazy slalom guys...I saw some (much smaller hills) on Canada Day here in Ottawa, Westboro, the winners always seem to be these heavy set guys that look like they've never done any form exercise ever, but then kill on the slalom hills. They just throw their weight around and kick ass.

That's Crazy, I could smell the smoke, it woke me up. There is a little crack under our door and about 6 am I woke up smelling smoke, I was a little freaked out because we have some party kids above us.... That and sometimes I smell smoke smells when there aren't any smoke smells...

International Woman’s Day, while we may debate what it means and doesn't mean and shouldn't mean, this is not a hallmark holiday... This is for all the women who deal with knowing that their children will not be raised by their mother because of aids, knowing that they have given their children a disease that will kill them, who deal with gender based violence/female infanticide, all the basic rights that we were born with or should be born with, for the young women out there that wish they were born male because women aren't valued in their families, religion or culture, and will be denied education or the choice of a lover, for all the women who have been stripped of their dignity, who fight for their daughters rights, who cannot remember the last time they smiled and to all the women who are dealing with any of this alone.
