Two men linked to an alleged Ottawa al-Qaida terror cell were remanded in custody this morning amid reports a third man has also been detained. The Toronto Star is reporting the latest arrest, which happened sometime this morning, involves a former Canadian Idol contestant named Khuram Sher. The report says Sher auditioned in Montreal, singing a bad rendition of Avril Lavigne's "Complicated" as he danced to the music.

I only made it out on the weekends and the Plants and Animals Wednesday show. After a rocky start, known solely as the chicken poutine incident, I had a great time. One dissappointment was the cancellation of Tye Tribbett. What happened??? I was looking forward to some gospel!!! Two highlights Bear in Heaven, and The Musical Box. Good times!
