I was at Bluesfest for 9 hours today and there wasn't one second that I wasn't having a great time. People were in great, kind spirits, the music was terrific and they had Creemore all day and night (so did I). The organizers should be proud this year. Don't change a single thing for next year! The biggest surprise of my day was the one band I swore I didn't want to see. Zappa does Zappa ruled my world. Total entertainment. I loved it. (No one's more surprised than me).

Oh YAY! I am stoked for this. I have always wanted to see them.

I just love news like this. About 5 minutes ago I learned that a colleauge of mine (a front line guy with kids) won the CHEO dreamhouse, $10K, maid service and groceries for a year, two hot cars and a few other things. Really couldn't have happened to a nicer person. I could not be happier for him. Have fun finding a new barber AD!

As I sit here eating mushroom after mushroom I wonder if this is strange. My husband doesn't like to eat raw mushrooms even on a salad. I can eat them plain and whole with delight. I hear ya Dinghy. I missed 40 Main all day yesterday. Canada Day just isn't the same without it. We did Major's Hill Park, and a walk up and down Rideau Street. Didn't really catch anything more than people watching, but the people we saw made it worthwhile (I think bouche will post a picture of a hot naked lesbian - who doesn't like that eye candy?) We watched fireworks from the river's edge at the museum in Hull with our puppy dog. It was nice.

You've also had your cell phone for all of three weeks. How many freaking times do we have to yell at people who are on their cell phones while running stop signs, making ridiculous turns, sitting still at green lights and on and on? This ban is a good thing (until I need to use my cell that is)

Another great Westboro restaurant is Agave. Mexican inspired cuisine. Great sangrias.

I went into work this morning. No one there so I came home.

Gastropub isn't really that expensive. Go for lunch and it'll be good value. Don;t forget to have the icecream.

Can anyone recommend a mover? Our move is only 5kms so I guess the truck doesn't have to be huge, they can do multiple trips if necessary. We're looking for a bargain.

Well I've seen Hux do hundreds of memorable things but here's a couple I'm sure he'll still speak to me after I post: - I saw him sleep with a plaque-mounted picture of Bob Weir in a tent. His arm was wrapped around it like a teddy bear. Disturbingly cute. - I took the infamous picture of the leather vest, so yeah, I saw that. - I saw him drink 8 red bull drinks and fall asleep immediately afterwards. - I saw him invent "weird D". - I saw him give me bubble bath for my birthday because he forgot so he raided is cupboards. - I saw him make up for it the next year by getting me a custom printed t-shirt "I'm fucking bouche." - I've seen him come over to our house and fall asleep on our sofa far too early, far too many times. - When tealy got stolen, I saw his sense of relief when we found it and his disappointment that the guitar in the back was missing. - I saw him keep his cool while sailing in a storm. - I saw his penis while skinny dipping with his grandparents! Yeah I looked and I am just as guilty of swimming with the seniors. Hahahaha. Good times actually.
