I don't see how it's any different than a movie or television star using their face and voice to promote cosmetics or insurance or whatever. No one considers them a sell out, they're seen as cashing in on an easy pay day. It's a tough life being a musician. Money doesn't come easy and getting your music out there isn't easy so I say, take any opportunity that comes. Why not?
