  3. Oh man I would love to go to this. Right by my house to!
  4. I loved Sirius at first as well. It was mostly due to the fact that there's no commercials and no wing ding, honk honk sounds. But yeah the playlists and selection of bankds gets old quick. You just have to keep it fresh by changing stations. I can not wait to have it in the car though. I listen to a lot of books on my ipod during road trips and they really help me get through the driving. Sharing the experience of stories and comedy shows with bouche and other passengers will be really so much better.

  9. I've never had nuts in soup before either. They really just turn into a nut flavored thingthat melts in your mouth. The soup was good, but nothing incredible. I was expecting more complex flavors but it just tasted like every other stew I've had. If I were to make it in future, I'd add some fenugreek, corriander stems, some more chilies, just some things to add some layers to it.

  16. I think he'll be joining the Sanc tonight.
  17. I've spoken to the lady. I know her level of smartness.
  18. Best course ever! I'm sitting beside a pretty cool dude. He's the son of this guy. Name's Jordan and he's got writing credit on a lot of the songs.
  19. So I'm in a course today and we're on lunch at the moment. The guy sitting beside me put on a Don Ross video he has on his laptop (sorry I can't link to it). ANYWHO.... Don Ross said that he used to play with just his fingertips and that was fine while he played alone. Then his friend turned him on to plastic finger picks which were okay, but then one day he was walking by a nail salon and had a Eureka moment. He's been getting acrylic nails now for almost 20 years! Cool trivia.
  20. Popoweiner, for goodness sake! You have two nephews in Ottawa, why would you want to pay a stranger to show you around?
  21. I like Babylon. The sightlines are clear for the most part, the area in front of the stage to well beyond the pool tables that is. If you're standing in front of the stage, you can see, dance and hear great and that accommodates hundreds of people. The people who can't see and hear are off to the side in the table section. My opinion is the opposite of AD's, I like the stage, and physical layout. The staff has always been my beef with the place.
  22. Just One Bite is horrid. I watched about 10 minutes of it once. Never again. What are your favorite FoodTV shows anyway? Mine are: Iron Chef Chef at Home and Large Good Eats Restaraunt Makeover and I really like the food Ricardo makes. He's a bit of a flake though. Wow, my list 4 years ago was way longer, that network HAS gone to hell.
  23. If you're going to the one on Bronson, don't forget to make reservations.
