France really surprises me. I feel so damn guilty every time I eat French food. It's so packed with calories and trans-fats. And a baguette every day? White bread = Empty carbs non? But there is a book out there called "French Women Don't Get Fat", so apparently there's a theory behind it. Could it be the red wine or what?
So you'd tip $2.00 less, then we'd start walking away and I'd turn around and throw a toonie on the table to make it up to the waiter/waitress. I'd then pick up the phone and rip the owner a new one. I'd never take an owner-issue up with the front-line staff. That would be like someone screaming at my front desk staff for an issue they have nothing to do with. It's just not right.
I think I'm going to try a beer/tomato juice blender this weekend. I'm afraid but adventurous. Do you think it would be okay with Clamato or should I buy regular ol' tomato juice?
I searched for a contact email address for this place so I could send them a link to this thread and let them know how fast they will loose customers. I couldn't find one. This is piss poor customer service and just comes off as so cheap. Where else are they cutting corners? If they're so desparate for cash, you'd think they'd encourage repeat business by treating customers well. Ridiculous.
Oh man, that reminds me of the South Park episode where all the pretentious, hybrid car owners bend down and stick their heads between their legs to whiff their own farts, that's how much they love themselves. It's too funny mmmmmkay?
I'm hooking up with Bob next week to go view our wedding reception venue (he's catering). I'll get to the bottom of this! That also goes to show how much I believe in STF, I wanted THE BEST for our wedding guests.
I'm sorry to hear that everyone's expereinces at SFD haven't matched ours. I have eatten there probably 20+ times for breakfast, a couple times for lunch and 5+ times for dinner. Each time has been amazing and I have pretty high standards for food. Too bad, I wonder why?
CatPhish we made your crockpot chicken last night and it was very yummy. I made chicken salad from the leftovers for lunch today and it was also VERY yummy. Thanks for sharing!

I have to agree with you Velvet. I thought I just wasn't "getting" it, but really I just can't stand it. I know a bunch of people that are going to the Ottawa show, I passed on it. I wasted enough time watching the movie.
One of the most memorable 5.1 surround sound expereinces I've had at home was watching the Band of Brothers DVD set. The bullets sounded like they were coming from behind me and it was just so realistic and frightening.
Oh and THE BEST expereince is The Beatles Love. Crank that ma fucker.
