No one should EVER humour anyone who tries to ram religion down their throat.
particularly if they are armed and willing to kill you.
so which side in the war on terror is the fundamentalist team anyway? looks to mw like the lines are blurring a bit

have a very happy birthday, hope your festive actiivities are all indoors & warm

i look forward to meeting you in real life....
Be careful what you wish for...
i've heard that. i've also heard many very nice things, i think i'm willing to take my chances...

aw maan...the good side lost another one today.

How I love Hillside. Had some pretty sublime musical moments there over the past many years.
the country band paired with autorickshaw sticks in my mind as a "hillside moment..." what was it that they called it...Cowboys and Indians?
that was great...each band was off to one side of the stage, by the end of teh first tune they were scooching closer together, and by the end of the hour they were one big happy freaky musical family...can't wait for this year!

Anyone record these last night? I had a staff meeting.....
sory, watched only. from what i could tell they were both new episodes. maybe thuis was an apology for pre-empting last week's with freekin' boxing.
-
very possible, howler...he has been sufrering from cancer of the plumbing, and i haven't seen him out and about for several months....jeez i hope he's okay. the last time i saw him on the idiot box, he was going to mexico for alternative treatment...

sounds like you had a good time...hope twenty eleven treats you well!

meh.
it's pretty derivative of the family guy, i will concede that the fish was funny as hell, but you could see the jokes coming a mile away...i will give it another chance, but i don't expect to be rearranging my life to fit it in a la the Simpsons....

I kinda thought it might be a bust, but sucker that I am, I'm sure I'll still get out to see it. Did they at least keep the old music theme? (Timouse tells me it's an old Eagles tune, but I don't think they ever did it with the same banjo-soaked flair.)
it is the Eagles, the tune's called "Journey of the Sorcerer." I think it's on The Long Run album...i have it as filler on a disc in my car, again , the onus is on you to tremember that i have it and ask for it tomorrow
and after having posted this i see fluffhead beat me to it...not that i'm ready to claim encyclopedic knowledge of the Eages

Yep. That was probably the same show' date=' at Kingswood (which was always a great venue, in my opinion).[/quote']
Huh - I was at that show, too (I think it was '97). I saw Santana three times there, and I think that was the last one.
I really miss Kingswood - I used to have a great time there. I would buy a season's pass to Wonderland, and then see a shitload of shows every summer. Of course, back then the tickets to the shows were $6 plus park admission (then they started climbing... $8, then $10, then $12... until the shows were full price, plus park admission, at which point the Molson Amphitheatre was built).
built over top of The Forum...if you really want to start pining for venues, that was the place....i remember seeing the neville brothers there, front row...
and now it's corporate venues just like everywhere else. corporate prices to match too!
bastards.
i guess that mr burns really must own ticketmaster

...or,
"Fry, you should really go outside rather than lying on the couch all day watching TV."
"But this is HDTV! It has better resolution than real life!!"

yay Tim, [color:red]thank you thank you!! This album is intricatley bound up with memories of Cairo and the pyramids. I will be so happy to have a clear copy once again.
you never really got into it, didja?
p.s. glad to see I'm "deb" again by you and not "mrs. evil". Let's not have that conversation again. hahahahhaha
i liked it, i think i was way more taken by "amused to death," even more so once i got in to neil postman. i do like roger waters a lot, i found that radio kaos moves a bit slow. excellent car tripping music, maybe it would be a good one for youse peoples ta have otw to chatham...
and thank you for the reminder about addressing or not addressing you two as a couple. i seem to remember neutering as a repercussion....

we bought a 130 + year old house that had wallpaper everywhere. taking it down was fine at first, but by the third room it was no longer a healthy stress release
We are in the same boat!!!We have done a few rooms and its not that bad, when there is only one or two layers!!!Are computer room is a different story, the people who lived in the house before us thought it would be a good idea to paint over the wallpaper!! It is going to be the last room in the house we do!!!I don't even what to think about the mess that will be.
2 x 2 studs and thin drywall may be your best bet. our hallway is covered in thick evil vinyl wallpaper...we'd love to take it down but as the walls beneath are very obviously cracked we've left it up. after talking to a plasterer, i painted over it with an oil based sealing primer with the eventual plan of doing a stucco sort of rough plaster over it. aahhh, the joys of an old house...

hey dave, i have had radio K.A.O.S. in the car since you & deb asked for it...remind me on tuesday & i'll pass it along!
