I've had tickets to see Lenny twice and both times the show was cancelled! First time was in '97, second time in '07. So I can't answer your questions. I'm sure he'd put on a good show.

I didn't say that at all. How could it be the Sun's fault? There were unsold before the article was even written. The point is, the Sun presented the unsold tickets as a crisis, and you used that as an opportunity to stir up things up in this thread. In my opinion, this is a non-issue. With the proper promotion, this guy will sell his tickets. There's a guy here at work involved in the "Ride for Dad" program and he sent around an e-mail today about the tickets for this game.

The article you quoted was from the Ottawa Sun, which presents everything as a crisis in order to sell more newspapers. The game is over three weeks away, for crying out loud. Still plenty of time to sell those tickets.

Alas, this year's comeback attempt fell short! Not to take anything away from the Rays (when did they take the "Devil" out of their name?!), they were indeed the better team. Just to be different I'll be cheering for the Phillies now.

Just taking a look at their website now. I think this is an awesome plan and just what this city needs. An aquarium! A hotel! Formal gardens! A retail and restaurant complex! These are money-making projects - needed to offset the losses that the CFL team will surely incur. Unfortunately it will never happen, with granola-munching socialists running this city and the frickin' NIMBYs in the Glebe.

I don't think attendance will be down significantly this season. One thing nobody brought up in this 50% off ticket argument was that the Sens charge extra for games for which there is a high demand (Leafs, Habs, Penguins).
