  1. I live in Guelph. It was well reported throughout the campaign that the Conservative candidate and workers were behaving problematically and flat out lying about things and everyone in town knew it. Indeed, the same Michael Sona attempted to snatch a ballot box at a polling station at the University of Guelph, he denied it, but photographs proved he had lied. He wasnt charged in that instance because there was some ambiguity in how notices were posted around campus and Elections Canada chose to clarify the issue for all special, temporary polling stations, rather than charging him with obstruction. Similarly, his candidate's well marked campaign van was parked directly in front of an advance polling station in violation of Elections Canada rules, but EC again chose to clarify rather than charge. The candidate himself was also caught in lies about his non-attendance at debates as well as his own personal military record. That anyone now would take Sona's word about anything now, or that of anyone associated with that campaign, simply ignores the well documented tendency for them to lie and cheat throughout the campaign. Sona is likely just the first one to be charged and many here in Guelph expect him to start singing like a canary.
  2. ugh ... i dont know what you expect in a live show, but i can say that the last two stones shows in TO were some of the best live performances ive ever seen, of any rock band, and they helped solidify my opinion that the rolling stones are easily one of the top bands in the history of music. have you seen them live?
  3. i very much doubt the band has anything to do with setting the prices. AEG would set them. fwiw, the first 10 rows on the floor are usually the least expensive tickets.
  4. you think? double face to relieve all stress immediately and be as close as possible seems like a winner to me.
  5. remind me not to stand next to any of you guys when the drones fly overhead.
  6. the pit tix on stubhub are a great deal right now, as far as im concerned. just double face. lawns are below face now. day of? free for a hug in the lot.
  7. i knew it was time to give up when one of my captcha's said "stop wasting time".
  8. same. nothing came up in the pit or 200s. i played for a bit and pulled a few pairs in the 400s, rows M or N, but didn't bother.
  9. stop deflecting, tell us about the time you blew the devil
  10. tell us more. i don't like liver, especially the smell of pan seared liver.
  11. more sad news. my thoughts go out to those hurt. in the case of radiohead, it wasn't the lights themselves that were too heavy, it was the several large, complex housings from which they hung, spun and swung. the real problem is the use of structurally weak, temporary, outdoor stages, i think.
  12. did someone spill a pepsi?
  13. ... invented in 1906. good for you, getting some senior muffuletta.
  14. in this case, no. im being serious. i think only those shows would sell out and yes, in fact, if you had extras on NYE, you might have been lucky to get $40 for them.
  15. yeah, on the list above, the only shows i could see selling out are the 3 berkeley shows and maybe the hollywood bowl show. none of the others would likely sell out. fwiw, you could not give away your extras for NYE a couple of months ago. NOBODY wanted them.
  16. well they've never sold it out before' date=' even back when they were a MUCH bigger draw than today. I don't think a sellout is a guarantee.[/quote'] so true, ive heard this phish band puts on a horrible show. tell everyone. and dont nobody try to get pit tix. that's the worst place to see this horrible bands from. absolutely awful down there.
  17. The papal conclave starts tomorrow' date=' too. Coincidence? I'll be checking for white smoke in the sky over Burlington, VT. Aloha, Brad[/quote'] i would suggest there is always a bit of a smokey haze hovering above burlington, vermont. :bonghit:
  18. clearly the gentleman thought he was going to see angels in america .... and yes, he might have also been hoping for a little peak of justin recovering in a london hospital this week ...
  19. i think u should take the phone out for dinner, maybe a movie at a quiet rep cinema. dessert at a late nite cafe. then home to a night of wild and passionate love-making. it cant help but love you back the next morning.
