i sometimes boil the ribs and then sauce them and put in the oven or on the grill. also a fan of just grilling with olive oil and spices until they get kinda blackened on the outside. i never cook ribs anymore, but am planning to this summer!

i recommend the osa peninsula. tougher to get to but so well worth it. there was a costa rica thread awhile back...try to find that, lotsa stuff in there.

tonight (herbie) was awesome. that is in the top 2 shows i've seen this year. anyone got a setlist? awesome lineup...dave holland on bass and a really cool african guitarist. great singers too. 'all i want' gave me the chills several times. wicked funky fun show!

[/quote'] not sure what boggles your mind (or why anybody cares so much about this) are you saying that 4 albums is a lot? i don't think it is. most bands i like have tens of albums. i didn't know that the show a month or so ago was part of this tour (it wasn't as far as i know). don't worry about it. but yeah, i guess the fact that everyone always raves about their live shows made me mistakenly assume they were more jam oriented, when they aren't. i'm ok with it.

we had the boss's feast yesterday at boss hogs and the ribs were really good! the pulled pork and chicken were not too special. but the ribs...mmmmm.

i liked the festivale more than the lug tread! i really enjoyed wynton's set...it lulled me into eyes-closed swaying under the stars...perfect. the last 2 songs last night were pretty great. stoked for 2nite!

if tix will be hard to get and there is a friends first thingy, i can get tix for someone...pm me if that happens...

i still liked the show...i was grumpy this morning. hehe i mistakenly assumed that many more songs would be in the rotation, but i shouldn't have assumed so really... or it could be coincidence that the 2 nights i saw were similar. it was nice though to have plenty of space in the venue, unlike last time!! the solo stuff sounds interesting.

and i do know the earlier albums...i have them. the majority of the songs they're playing are not new ones.

well maybe they should play some of them then i like it when bands switch it up a bit from show to show, even if promoting an album. unless it's a hero of mine, i won't be paying to see the same setlist multiple times.
