vedder, marr, selway. finn...wha! where can i get this? i need to see this...
The DVD is called "Seven Worlds Collide" and can be found under Neil Finn. There is also a compilation CD of the concert with selected tunes.
The DVD is a "live show" put together from the shows put on over the week at the St. James Theatre which is an awesome venue. Great interviews with all of the performers. Makes you want to move, or at the very least, visit NZ.

Yes, no question, The Smiths were a great group.
Johnny Marr is still out there and a few years back he, Eddie Vedder (vocals) Pearl Jam, Ed OBrien (guitar, vocals) Radiohead, Phil Selway (drums) Radiohead,Lisa Germano (vocals, piano, violin), all got together with Neil Finn of Split Enz and Crowded House for a week of shows in Auckland, NZ. The DVD is a nice watch and interesting combination of musicians. Finn sings "There Is A Light" from "The Queen Is Dead" and if your eyes are closed, you'd swear it's Morrissey.

Sorry, don't know the ticket cost and don't know who decides on the "award" but it is from the Toronto Musician's Society/Group. Either way, Kevin was greatly honoured and played like a demon, as always.
Spoke with Kevin last night who is definitely getting the band up to Ottawa because of the efforts of Bouche and Todd. Way to go boys, you're in for a good show!!! And hopefully I'll be there to share it with you.
Keep Well All,

Hey Folks,
Hope that everyone had a relaxing easter and that the Fun Bunny had gifts for all.
Last Monday, Kevin received Toronto's Musician of the Year for 2004 and then the Sisters proceeded to put the Orbit Room into spinning mayhem. Unbelievable energy.
There are some tasty new downloads at www.kevinbreit.com These downloads change monthly so check back every once in a while to see what's new.
Kevin will be performing at Hugh's Room on April 7 with Folk Alarm, his trio that offers unique and original music that is a combination of folk, bluegrass, jazz, rock and other genres too numerous to mention. For those who saw the show in October you know what to expect. Well worth the ticket price. www.hughsroom.com

Players listed on her website are people Stella has played and recorded with including Mike & Jeremy from BNB.
Hope that answers your question.

Had the pleasure of tracking James Quinn and Chris Buote of DownTime this weekend for bedtracks for this talented girl. http://stellalunamusic.com/
Hope your weekends were as enjoyable as mine

Not to trivialize the unmeasurble disaster, but what an incredible discovery.

Just a heads up to those who were planning a trip to The Orbit Rooom to say that The Sisters Euclid won't be playing this coming Monday, Feb. 14 as Kevin is off to New York for some session work.
Hope this finds you all well,

Ridata, 100 for 17, good quality, printable lables
Have to agree with this one. We've been burning for years and these are the most reliable discs with little to no disc errors/bad burns that I've come across lately.

Well, not much to say except this is one show that won't be a priority on my "to watch" list....

So I would have to ask being a business owner, who hired this woman? Must've been a great screening process...

is there a band laying at the orbit room? i'll come to the coop
Ummmm....yah...that would be Kevin Breit & The Sisters Euclid who've been ripping it up at The Orbit Room every Monday night for the past eight years. Must be seen and heard to believe. One of Toronto's and Canada's best kept secrets...in my humble opinion.

See ya'll there on Monday. The Sisters have been cranking out some new tunes. "Poor Ray" is FREAKIN' AWESOME! There are some new downloads at www.kevinbreit.com "Four Shows Nightly" is an Ian de Souza tune that is nice. Gotta love Mondays!!!

Hey Bouche,
I'll transfer & convert the show this week and FTP it to you. I have to nab the Punk to make sure I have the tracks cut properly as they played the entire set with NO breaks between tunes, just segued into one after the other.

Unfortunately, I haven't seen the issue yet, but Nero is in the section "The Buzz" with a tasty StuDog pic.
I guess this is kinda bitter-sweet as Nero is on hiatus...

PS - Found a live to 2-track DAT of Nero that I recorded at The Tequila Lounge a year or so ago. I'm sure there must be a few folks who'd like a copy of it. Let me know Simply smokin'!!!

I am part owner of an audio post company in Toronto and have contributed to many broadcast televison shows.
If you can supply me with a final edit of the show and the music I can master the audio, sync it to piture and get it onto DVD.
I do this as the Punk is a good friend and old room mate and had the pleasure of meeting Dave & Jay through Chris.
You can find us on the web at www.renegadeaudio.ca

Stereo hyper-card mic placement into pre-amps into RNC Compressor to catch the peaks and to DAT. Editing done in Pro Tools. That's it except that it loses some quality when converted to mp3.
Glad you like.

They will be definitely be playing on the 27th. During the X-mas holidays it's packed like sardines, so grabbing a seat/spot around 9:00pm is a good idea. Hope to see you there Brad.

Wow, who woulda thunk it that I'm not the only "Parrothead" on this board....but for those who grew up sailing know where I'm coming from.
We scored our lawn tickets and the show sold out in a mere 20 minutes. This will be a night of cheesy drunken boat songs and it will be a blast.
Fins Up...Way Up,
