  1. Aaahhhh, this is really starting to make me laugh. "Sneaky BT's" while getting "prepped" for the Dead at the first "Highgate" in Vermont....

I'll have to cut you some slack that you're sipping from cans, and IMHO, brew is still better from the bottle, just quicker to chill in the can...

This is getting me in gear for tonight...gotta slow down as it's only Monday and I've gotta make it through to Friday....

    Mmmmmmm......Grolsch.....Yummy.....

    Thanks for the laughs Howler!!!

  2. It's cold, wet & more than a touch of grey in Toronto today. Wish I was hot tubbin'!!!!

But hey, got the Sistas tonight so life is good. Life is always good on Monday's when they're playing...

And it's June 10 for the Ottawa show...

  3. So I see it's finally official. Man oh man are the folks in O-town up for some great music. Bouche had told me The Sisters are making the trip to Maverick's thanks to Todd.

Ummm, some tunes that you can really shake it to would be Parkdale Symphony, Brohemia, Belladonna Lily, Two Miles, Tumbleweed Tea, Big Al....I could go on and on. No matter what they pull out, you're in for some tasty tunes. Hope I can make the trip and take a dip in Bouche and Ms. Hux's hot tub!

  4. Hey, nice to hear from you. Actually we hung out a few moe.down's ago. I have pictures of us all sitting on the bus at the top of the hill....and then some pics of Punk & Brahm rolling down the ski hill.....ah, that moe.down was sooo sweet. Three kick ass sets of Nero in the Beer Tent....

Yeah, it'd be good for me to get to Evolve and a visit with all my friends from the east coast and I have to give Punk a big hug and kick in the arse...

Anyway, hope you're gonna take in Kevin & The Sisters. They simply cook it up good and yummy!!!

  5. Hey Julie. Dave here, Shannon Everett's cousin from Toronto....

So happy that Family Guy is back and seeing Bart as a junk food junkie....who else thought he looked like a fat kid right outta a Gary Larson Far Side comic???

In the infamous words of Stuie...

    "DAMN!"

  6. So this past Monday was another great night of music. The Sisters opened with "I Still Haven't Found..." by U2, obviously meant for Natasha who spent her last night behind the bar of The Orbit Room before she heads out to the West Coast. She will be missed by all of the Monday Night crew...

Set 2 saw something very rare and that was Natasha joining the Sisters for an unbelievable "Whole Lotta Love". Simply awesome...

All The Best Natasha & Play Safe!!!

  7. From one of my first friends in PEI to becoming a flatmate (brief) in the beaches and gettin' "jostled" in the Astro Van, you always bring a smile to my face....mainly 'cause you're funny to look at!!!

I hope to be back east sometime this summer and expect the red carpet to be rolled out end to end on that damn bridge that should have never been built because there have been too many Islanders crossing the waters....

You left without picking up the Nero/D&T/Sisters Euclid package. Bouche thanks you... No worries, I still have your copies and some stuff for Goati.

Keep Well and look after your girl,

  8. Yes, definitely nice to see you again Sharon. I really hope I can make it up to Ottawa in June. I'm juggling some records to get there....crossing my fingers....The offer from you & Mike to "soak in the tub" sounds pretty good to me...

Glad you're enjoying the Folk Alarm. Can't wait for this show with MM&W.

Kevin was telling me that when he went to the Scofield show in Hamilton, as he was walking in Stephen Franke were playing "Rigged Noose", one of the tunes of "The Sisters Euclid". He was blown away. Too funny...

  9. If you're into keyboard players then there's no explanation why the tix are the price they are. Joey plays with the best because he's one of them. He played with Pat Martino a few years back at Nathan Phillips Square and he was incredible...and not forgetting that he was playing with Pat Martino
