  1. Haha, I just called the radio station and they put me on air talking about how its Global Orgasm for Peace Day tommorow....I told them I'd be participating before and after work, and then I'm on holidays so it will be an ongoing peace movement for me...hehe. I'm hoping they will talk about it more tonight and tommorow so people can be informed and take part! Will be pretty incredible if people can feel the sense of euphoria tommorow. Ciao Steph
  2. Yeah if you had someone to drive down with and bunk with, it would cut the costs, and make it less lonesome having to find your way back to the hotel alone and whatnot....
  3. Yeah my bro Debob works for Hertz, so we're renting a car and driving down the aftrernoon on the 29th, hitting the Trey show, then Umelt after party, then probably driving straight to NYC to pick Jakis up at the bus station at 8:00. There is only 3 of us driving down so if your serious, I'm sure the boys wouldnt mind if you jumped on with us. Not sure though but I think the Trey show might be sold out.... Let me know! Ciao Steph
  4. Mattm, my bro and me are going to Trey in Albany the 29th, then driving right to NYC for Mule the 30th, then Moe on NYE. PLus theres some wicked aftershows, Umelt and Brothers Past Going to be a rockuss trip! Hope you can make it! Ciao Steph

  6. Yes, thanks Dave, your set was incredible, Me and Matt had a great time too. I really dig the new funky upbeat stuff. The sound was just so amazing at the Saw gallery, it took me right in. Also thanks Steve and Kathy and everyone who puts on the Dusty Owl events. You guys really rock, and sure know how to put on a good time. Kudos to you for all your hard work. Thanks Brad for taping. Can always count on you Much respect. Steph

  8. I was in Rochester, NY seeing Chris Berry and Panjea, opening up for Soulive. Jammed out hard during Panjea's set then after the show talked to them at their merch table. I was talking to one of their horn players and we were connecting pretty good. He told me to fallow him and he led me backstage. My crew I was with were invited as well, and we spent the whole Soulive set side stage and back stage, partying in their bus's. Cool thing was when they said "We have fridges full of beer, drink our beer!" so we got wasted on their account all night. Best part was when I ventured into the bus at one point and got to jam with a couple of the band members. They had a sick acoustic bass and I think I creamed my pants when I was jamming on it with them. All in all, those guys are blessed cats, have so much respect for the music and people, and spread an incredible positive word all around. Check em out http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=56179868 Go here and scroll down until you see the youtube video from the Rochester jazz festival and you can watch me groovin at the show http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=29865446

  10. Its nice to know guys compare our asses to grapefruits and bulldogs in cloth sacks. This thread is too funny, yet too sad.... Keep it up boys, the right hottie will come along.... Ciao Steph
  11. What's their sound like? Heavy? More indie-ish?
  12. Do like MarcO's avatar and stick your tongue out. Waaaaaay out.
  13. Bumpity bump bump bump. Hope lots of you can make it out. Such a good night for a really good cause. Much respect. Steph
  14. Hahaha I love the stupid funny rhymes. Good laugh
  15. The Cheese are fun, kind hearted, and good musicians. I always have fun listening to them, or seeing their shows. One incident at a time. Steph
  16. I had friends who listened to them a bunch, and I borrowed one of the cd's before. They're pretty calming, yet have some pretty good beats happening to. Not the most incredible band, but at times, I dig em. Cheers Steph
  17. I'm with afro-poppa on this one. The lineup already is worth the trip down. I've seen most of those bands in the past several months and not one has let me down. Always good groovin is going down. Cheers Steph
  18. Wowsers! Thanks for the heads up....looks juicy and sweet. Would be nice if I could make this happen this year. Cheers Steph
  19. Congrats and good for you Cully! Should be a fun little job for sure. I worked at Music World for half a year out west, and it was definitely cool getting to talk about music all day. The only crappy thing is that your sometimes forced to listen to the trash mainstream pop they blare over the speakers. But if you can get past that, it's all good. Perks should be pretty good there, I know I always got tons of free cd's. Have fun, Christmas time in retail. Wahooooooo. Ciao Steph
  20. Shows, parties, orgies? Fill me in. Love Steph
  21. Sweet pic from the Mule website.
  22. Mule definitely delivered last night! Shakedown street tease was nice, and Gordie coming out really made the band rock even harder. Can't beat the Cortez encore too. Couldn't stop smiling or grooving all night either, crowd wasn't too tight so there was a generous amount of room to dance. Security wouldn't allow pictures though unfortunately, but what can ya do. Cheers Steph

  24. I can't imagine growing up in a place like miramichi or bathurst even. I'm from Moncton and I find that small enough. A little more bullshit in the metropolis I think, but you can always find someone's place to put your feet up in, even if you don't know the person that well. From my experience living here in Ottawa, people are way more reserved, and kind of take time getting to know before they really welcome you. Even the people in the west are more welcoming. It's definitely a coastal thing.
