I'm so glad I got to make it up there for Drive-By Truckers. That was incredible set from them. Thanks so much to everyone that made it happen. It was great seeing NorthernWish and Jodie, Stapes, rubberdinghy, KevO, gentlemonkey, meggo and all the others I can't remember right now because I'm still a little fogged up.

Quick question. Are these lawn chair goons REALLY at the front of the stage for these shows? I plan on being up there for Drive-By Truckers next Saturday and a friend told me I will more than likely be turfed for pushing someone out of a chair at the front of the stage. I'd hate to go all the way up there just to be thrown out but I'd rather be tossed than stand at the back and watch my favorite band play to the lamest crowd in the history of rock n' roll.

Feelin' nostalgic. I used to see these guys all the time when I was a teenager.

That "someone" is laaaame! Not sure why that person would think just because they played a tour with DBT, they would sound like DBT. I heard nothing but great things about their set and that comes from people I BEGGED to skip Yonder Mountain's set to catch some Hold Steady for the first time. A lot of bands play incredible music. Not as many play incredible rock n' roll shows.

I'm liking that band a lot these days.
