  1. The Webster Theater in Hartford, CT.. I think everytime I've been there or have heard about it, EVERY car gets broken into during the show.. Just a rough place. Bogart's in Cincinnati.. It's home, and that's where most bands I like play around there, but it's the most disguisting venue I've been to. Blehhhhh..
  2. Wow.. This was on the 6th page.. Let's get this thing kickin'...
  3. Nice.. I'm gonna put that on after this show ends.. I'm lovin' it big time!! May 30th sounds like a blast, I'm sure Baj will be into it!!
  4. For my cousin, Puff, who needs love and support right now... There are times when you can beckon, There are times when you must call. You can take a lot of reckoning, But you can't take it all. There are times when I can help you out, And times when you must fall. There are times when you must live in doubt And I can't help at all. [Chorus 1] Three blue stars rise on the hill Sing no more now just be still All these trials soon be past Look for something built to last A wind held by the collar, Yes, a cloud held by the breeze You can walk on coals of fire But sometimes you must freeze There are times when you offend me And I do the same to you If we can't or won't forget it I guess we could be through [Chorus 2] One blue star sets on the hill Call it back you never will One more star sinks in the past Show me something built to last Built to last till time itself falls tumbling from the wall Built to last till sunshine fails and darkness moves on all Built to last while years roll past like cloudscapes in the sky Show me something built to last or something built to try There are times when you get hit upon Try hard but you can't give Other times you'd gladly part With what you need to live Don't waste your breath to save your face When you have done your best And even more is asked of you Fate will decide the rest [Chorus 3] All the stars are gone but one Morning breaks here comes the sun Cross the sky now sinking fast Show me something built to last

  7. From The Associated Press, April 30, 2007 Al Gore condemned Canada's plan to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, saying it was a fraud "designed to mislead the Canadian people." Under the initiative announced Thursday, Canada would reduce greenhouse gas emissions 20 percent by 2020. But the government acknowledged it would not meet its obligations under the Kyoto Protocol, which requires 35 industrialized countries to cut greenhouse-gas emissions by 5 percent below 1990 levels by 2012. The country's emissions are now 30 percent above 1990 levels. The Conservative government's strategy focuses both on reducing emissions of gases blamed for global warming and improving air quality. But the plan failed to spell out what many of its regulations will look like. "In my opinion, it is a complete and total fraud," Gore said Saturday. "It is designed to mislead the Canadian people." Gore said he was surprised that the plan focused on reducing the intensity of emissions rather than tough, overall curbs. He said "intensity reduction" - which allow industries to increase their greenhouse gas outputs as they raise production - was a poll-tested phrase developed by think tanks financed by Exxon Mobil and other large polluters. Canadian Environment Minister John Baird rejected Gore's criticisms. "The fact is our plan is vastly tougher than any measures introduced by the administration of which the former vice president was a member," Baird said in a statement. Baird also invited Gore to discuss climate change and the Conservatives' environmental policies with him. Gore, who was in Toronto to present his documentary, "An Inconvenient Truth," at a consumer environmental show, acknowledged that as an American, he had "no right to interfere" in Canadian decision. However, he said, the rest of the world looks to Canada for moral leadership, and that was why Thursday's announcement was so "shocking." Canadian opposition Liberal Leader Stephane Dion said Sunday that Gore was right. "Mr. Baird is embarrassing Canada around the world," Dion said. "The world expects Canada will do its share - more than that, that Canada will be a leader and we are failing the world. We are failing Canadians."
  8. Hope you have a happy one!!
  9. The Mishawaka Amphitheatre in the Poudre Canyon in Colorado. It's about a 40 minute drive from Fort Collins, where I lived for a bit. It's nestled in the valley of the Rockies, with the Poudre River running behind the stage, along the lawn, and under the deck. Being in such a beautiful environment while listening to beautiful music is the best feeling I've ever had. Plus, there was a little island to camp on after shows, right behind the stage in the river. Fun, weird times. I was so lucky to be a part of the Mish magic.. www.mishawakaconcerts.com

  13. That's not what we do with them..
  14. It's not the festival doing it, it's the people that bring the glowsticks in.. At Labor Day when we had 3,000, the festival staff kindly asked us to clean up after ourselves.. Which we did. Each morning with a wagon full of bloody marys, we scoured the entire grounds handing out drinks to anyone kind enough to help pick garbage (not just glowsticks) off the ground. We ended up having about 20 or more people help out each morning.. So don't blame the festival.. Blame the fun-loving glowstick artists like my friends who were generously giving out the glowsticks to any kid or grown-up who wanted.. The glowstick forest (aka Mars) is one of the many amazing, unique wonders of this fantabulous festival, along with the many generous, helpful, and fun people that make Gratefulfest amazing!

We took 3,000 to the Labor Day at the Ledges (2 nights), and he's thinking something like 15,000-25,000 this year (we're all chipping in on the cost)(plus it's 4 nights).. We WERE the glowstick forest (aka Mars) at that festy.. Gratefulfest is gonna be glowy as hell this year... We'll make a portrait of you in glowsticks to remember ya... You'll always be there in spirit!
