Oh yeah around the 200 area is my budget (v67 is quite less than that -- good). Yeah it came down to NT1A vs MXL V67G as my final two contestants, but the more I reviews and comparisons I read, V67 came out on top more often. Hmmm...

Old thread bump -- so I need a budget condenser mic to record acoustic instruments (guitar, uke, violin, piano). I've been doing a lot of research and I'm about to make a final decision and I think I'll go with the MXL V67G. Anyone have experience with that one? Before I go through any last minute other suggestions?

Yeah they were really promoting it last year, everywhere. Even toured it when they could get some members together. I bought the album when I saw a performance on Canada Day, its quite good.

Definitely in for Montreal. As I recall, they are choosing to play indoor locations (mostly) as it is more befitting of the TKOL tracks' vibe.

So, I'm trying to finish record some parts of my music and since I'm back in my work routine, I only have the weekends to record. Unfortunately these amps keep getting rented out before I can catch them, and I feel if I rent it a day ahead of time its a waste as I only get to record Saturday and Sunday daytime. So, just a super shot in the dark does anyone have one of these amps that I could rent or just borrow for a weekend??? I'd like to think the few people that know me here in person can attest that I'm a responsible person who can make sure nothing gets damaged. Just pretty down after making the call to find out Blues Jr, Hot Rod even Twin Reverb all rented out...and well was REALLY looking forward to wrapping up my parts.
