For anyone that might be wondering, I took the Pats this week. I should have went with Baltimore (as my head told me) but I am still in it. My buddy is in a 24,000$ suicide pool (100$ dollar entry fee) and took Baltimore this week. He still has all the heavy AFC hitters and hasnt picked an NFC team yet. As I reminded him today, provided he plays patient he is totally in for a massive potential.

We always rent movies but nothing has grabbed me lately, not that I can recall right now. I didnt particularily enjoy Fraction but it was alright. In fact, save for Anthony Hopkins (even though he seemed to be chanelling a prior character but isnt that par for the course with acting?), I got more entertainment out of Premonition. Yes Basher. Sandra Bullock but I get the feeling I would have to at least watch Premonition one more time because what I just wrote felt REEEEEEEEEALLY dirty. Time and place mean everything to me when I watch a flick. I echo the Stranger Than Fiction comments. And again, I point anyone toward Children Of Men. I think Zodiac was the 'best' last movie I have seen and that was about 6 weeks ago. Little Children was rented just after that and that will put you in a tailspin if you are up for a touch of diabolical drama here and there. That film in particular caused some unique emotions seen on my tele in that Rescue Me way, minus the percentage of humour.

That was Douglas's favorite part. I didnt laugh as often as I thought I might but when I lauged I fucking roared. Those drawings looked so good though and any fan of Star Wars that is also a fan of Family Guy absolutely has to see that episode. Personally, I am hoping they start the next 5 seasons (if it lasts that long) with the next 5 in the series. Minnie The Moocher! Hahahhaa......man that was some good shit.

Thanks Kev. Some of those words might come in handy for me some day. From my perspective I have been in a strike position 4 times since I got this career and I was facking pissed off much of it because my union was getting ahead of themselves for many of their positions. Thanfully they scored some great goals but I often wonder how much was given up because of their wide-angled viewpoint. Obviously I am venting about one particular union but I do have a question for traveler. Who are we honking for and why?

Why wouldnt they be? But I disagree on the sound (then again, I wasnt in your seats). I thought it sounded outstanding and could easily hear the separation between the instruments. When we saw him this summer on the acoustic tour, I was extremely disappointed with the lack of sound from the pedal steel. I heard it MUCH more this show if you can believe that. That instrument can easily get hidden. I'll take any show in there.
