  5. This was posted at www.philone.org from the DSO board. This really blows, glad I hit up Grateful Fest last year as it may be very different this go around. ..ok folks this is NOT PRETTY DEA, sherrif and drug dogs raided NLQP on thursday all of grab bag bill's wares were confiscated and bill's associate was arrested by state police and drug agents. then they proceeded to go through the park and arrest people for smoking pot and various other drug related charges. Evan has passed out AT LEAST 10 wristbands to undercover state police and drug agents. apparently this is all going down because some fuckhead was selling drugs that kill you there and someone bought it , went home and OD'd died this was/is the straw that broke the ledges back. the local authorities have been waiting for this to happen. there will be a CONSTANT police presence in NLQP from now on...THE PARTY IS OVER, FOLKS!! if you do decide to go to NLQP this year for any of the events...WATCH YOUR ASS! personally, i love the place to death...but, will NOT be going there if i'm going to be jailed for just smoking some weed....sorry my heart is broken peace kevin

  13. There is no way that he is injured. Cito told him to take 2 weeks and get some help with the mental side of the game. Closers are not supposed to show ANY emotion. He shows it all on his sleeve! Boo urns.

    Ray LaMontagne

I went to the Massey Hall show two weeks back, and it was AMAZING. The Toronto crowd was so respectfull, as Ray has terrible stage fright. His eyes seemed to be closed for the entire show, but the energy that comes from him is electric. The band had elements of Neil Young, Gram Parsons, and I loved the country/folk sound with a great steel guitar player. The band played both acoustic and electric numbers and Ray also played 4 tunes by himself, one to close the encore that left smiles on so many faces when the show ended. Honestly, I was stone cold sober for the show, but left feeling like I had partied at 'That Place' back in the day...it was an emotional rollercoaster. Ray has such a unique voice, and he sounded great (the women all went crazy) His songs touch on subjects like heart ache, love and friendship and they totally captivate the audience. I could have listened to him play G-C-D all day long and recite the phone book. Go and see him, you won't regret it.
