    RIP Ween

Published on Dec 12, 2015 Merry Xmas everyone! Every year at Xmas time I wish I had written a good Xmas song. I’m not sure I even accomplished that much here, but at least this time I thought about it this summer and recorded it so it would be ready when December rolled around. So here it is….”Xmas Day.” If you think it’s homophobic, it's not—it’s a true story based around a conversation i had with a local gay bartender (about the worst jobs we ever had). He had a job one December working as Santa Claus at the Oxford Valley Mall here in PA. He ended up meeting one of the kid’s fathers getting photographed with him who was deep in the closet, he recognized the father from a local gay bar and ended up sleeping with him but the guy made him wear his Santa outift. I just thought that was the funniest thing I ever heard—so here it is “XMAS DAY” --by the Dean Ween Group—Deaner, Ray Kubian, and Gabe.
  5. I have ordered at least 4 times and it went well the first 3 times. The last order that came they wanted like $50 in Duty for 3 shirts so I told them to return to sender and contacted Dry Goods with a change of address to a place in Buffalo I can pick up at for $5 next time I am there. Unfortunately Dry Goods hasn't got the package back yet and its been at least 2 months. They offered a refund but I am willing to wait a bit longer for the shirts that are now out of stock.
  6. I believe its located in Virginia which leads me to believe that is a yes

  10. Is his stage in the middle of the ACC floor? I see no floor tickets on stubhub, is that because of the ccard in hand method?

  12. Get to Vermont Ottawa!!! It seems Joe Russo's Almost Dead is done for the time being. While the five talented musicians of the band are planning to reunite down the road to kick out the Grateful Dead jams, today, the band announced a five-night run that is billed as their "last road dates for a while..." While Joe Russo talked about wanting to do less Almost Dead in a recent interview, a major contributing factor to this "last road dates" announcement is Dave Dreiwitz, the touring bassist for Ween. With that band announcing their first reunion dates over Valentine's Day weekend, bassist Jon Shaw will be filling in on the newly-announced shows. The tour dates span from February 10th through the 14th, and mainly focus on the Northeast regio, with stops in DC, New Haven, Providence, Portland, and Burlington. Here's the note that Joe Russo penned about the lineup change/tour dates: February note: When Boognish calls, you answer. As one could assume, it is quite difficult to wrangle the schedules of the five members of Almost Dead with all of the different projects, bands and family commitments. These freshly announced February dates had been on the books for a while when Dave got the call that WEEN (holy shit!) was possibly getting back together in Colorado. We couldn’t be more excited for Dave and Ween. Rest assured, Dave’s post will be kept warm in the fully capable hands of Mr Jon Shaw (Shakey Graves, Cass McCombs). Jon is an incredible musician and much like our dear Dave, one hell of a human being. We are super excited for Dave. We’re super excited for our Feb shows! We’re just plain excited all around. Thanks all, for the incredible support! See you soon! Lots of love, Joe All shows go on sale at noon PM ET on Friday, December 11th, and can be found on the band's official website. 14. These guys are destroying the Deads music in an amazing way right now, check them out live if you can before they aren't doing it, which I fear is soon. Watch this whole video and look for Benevento's solo and how the band hops back in, so damn fresh to my dead ears.
  15. Head injuries are no laughing stupid black guitar cases at night vodka picnic table.
