Upon further investigation (and an adblock) it appears that it is the shout box loading up everytime that is slowing me down, can I turn that off somewhere?

My navigation around Jambands.ca isn't fluid anymore. I am connected wirelessly to the net using Internet Explorer. To me it seems like I am waiting for the advertisements at the top of every page to load before I can navigate, I'm talking like 5-10 seconds before I can do anything. Can I shut them off or fix this delay somehow? Thanks in advance to all the people who tell me not to use Internet Explorer...
