  1. BNB got their lumps a few years back over all sorts of things..... things ebb and flow. In the end the ultimate revenge against criticism is perseverance.
  2. cuntybollocks. who is telling YOU anything? It's a public forum, not "letters to Deeps". If someone doesn't like something they can fucking say so and they don't need to explain themselves to you. Keep making assumptions.
  3. If I could remember my dream, then I could maybe contribute but .... no go.
  4. in this thread we will discuss Booche and all the ways he drives us crazy.

  8. Actually that would be a TEASE' date=' which I tried to edit into the theme but got veto'd! [/quote'] I was trying to tip someone to "C'mon Baby Let's Go Downtown", which was written by Danny Whitten.
  9. yes, they are probably hard to dance to.
  10. as did I, and there was a band playing too! another Iqaluit venue is the high school auditorium.
  11. good Lord, all I said was that listening with your feet might not be a good way to set yourself a high standard for music but hey that's just me. I said nothing about any band in particular. I said dick-all about any "old vs young" argument. And I don't know how Brian Hamilton got mentioned in this, he hasn't made a single post so far here. Keep on doing what you're all doing. Hopefully that pot of artistic gold is right around the corner.
  12. I don't even know how to respond in this thread.
  13. I've always likened her to the sound of an abnormally upset hippopotomus being born. Those baby-boom bastards really perpetuated the myth of greatness among some of their idols.
  14. this sentence pretty much sums up why so much of this "jamband" music sucks so much hard smelly ass. there, I said it. [color:purple]yeah, listen with your feet, not your ears!
  15. no, if you want to smoothly move from one theme to the next go for it, but it's not a rule for the game. You can also switch gears completely if you wish for a new theme. really the only rules that ever were and that remain are: * you get one choice per theme * no fantasy entries; your pick has to be one that has been officially released in some format (so, no unreleased live tunes, no demos that aren't available - basically no "bootleg" stuff and no made up stuff) * whoever finishes one theme gets to kick off the next apart from that, the themes can be as hard or as easy as you wish, so long as none of these basic rules are compromised. I'd like to think that this far into the game we don't need to renegotiate any of these principles. I think it would be a lot less fun if it were a total free-for-all, personally.
  16. Hints: just off the top of my head these records have Neil doing covers that haven't been listed yet: Neil Young (s/t) Ragged Glory Everybody's Rockin Old Ways people: even Tonight's The Night has what is technically a cover!
  17. that's a great song, good for them!
