  10. just bear in mind the first go around on this theme. DON'T PICK ANY OF THESE SONGS:
  11. I did a list around page 49 or 50 of this thread if you want to have a look (assuming your settings are the same as mine: 40 topics per page, which I think is the default setting).

  14. djmelbatoast has to pick again, the same Cat Stevens tune is on there twice.
  15. hey guys, this isn't life or death, hopefully it's still fun in spite of a few rules. I think this thread is total fun and got me thinking about about a lot of artists and songs.
  16. Neil Young has recorded dozens of great songs which he has not made available to the public. Then there's demos, live versions etc, and I have a nice chunk of them on "bootleg" discs. But they're not applicable to this game because they are unreleased by the artist. The minute one of them turns up officially, on a box set, a remaster, an archival release, even an official download, than they become fair game for this board. Until then, they're off limits. Now two mellows are being harshed. Hal, you've made so many great contributions to this game and I've always been intrigued by your choices. But it is a game, it does have a few rules, so hopefully the clarification of this rule will get things back on track.
  17. allow me to rephrase this then: * songs must be as they appear on an official release. I'm sure this might seem ambiguous to someone but I would think by now the point is clear: this game is NOT a fantasy-tour kind of thing. You can't put a song on an album here if it hasn't been recorded, hasn't been released, or simply is just wishful thinking. If this is unclear, I'll try again to spell it out.
  18. new Ryan Adams album out June 5th: "Easy Tiger" but JCN ended and so now this: (heart) right back at ya!
  19. you are a good and handsome man.
  20. I had troubles with that too. But I went online and found that if you just reset the VX 2.0 modules to -3 as an average (takes some tweaking) and then compoputate the pingypongpingy back to where it should be, the Brahphet Sound Card 2.3.1 pops up and you're good to go.
