  1. unfortunately I can't hook you up with tix for the show, but I went last night to one of two sold out Massey Hall shows and scored 2 floors for $20 each! If you don't find any before the show I suggest wondering down to the venue and try your luck out front. FYI > the show was great!
  2. ya I saw them back in `89 at The Diamond (now Phoenix) I was front row and trippin'. Slammed my hand on the stage the entire night. Well, especially for "Join In The Chant" I remember that. Came out of there with the nastiest palm blister full of blood. Good Times!

  7. anyone going out to any of the Metric shows this week? Tonight is Ottawa, then 2 shows at Massey Hall (looking forward to catching one of them), London and Hamilton I am really digging Fantasies now that I have listened to it a million times..haha Emily ROCKS !
  8. CTD have 3 previous releases... * Life Stories for Minimum Wage (2002 on Three Gut Records, re-released 2007 on Outside Music) * Cuff the Duke (2005 on Hardwood Records) * Sidelines of the City (2007 on Hardwood Records) * Way Down Here (September 8, 2009)
  9. nice ! right on Mellie we're never gonna let you go back now
  10. old school Jeff Mattson
  11. DSO has been an evolving/changing collective since the beginning. Jeff Mattson does an excellent job of delivering the early Jerry tunes (Masons Children, etc) and will be a nice change. It does not mean JK won't return. DSO has recreated JGB shows when Rob Eaton was busy in the past with other work. I'm sure they will continue on as always and regroup when the time is right.

    Wilco Tonight?

I thought last nights show was incredible at times. Fantastic guitar playing that gave me goose bumps during some moments. I thought the Impossible Germany was killer. could have done without that dude next to me...especially during the Jesus, etc...dang!

  14. Question: When did Jim James become Yim Yames ? just wonderin... edit:never mind, just read this
  15. I lost interest in them. They've changed band members so often I don't even know who CTD are anymore other than Wayne. I guess I should check out their new release before I give up on them entirely. I do still LOVE "Ballad of a Lonely Construction Worker" though
  16. this show is going to be awesome! If any one has an extra floor MOF Massey Halll ticket...I'll gladly take it! I "heart" Vincent O'Brien
