I've felt sorry for them since the Billy Sims years.

The Bills-Dolphins game has plenty of empty seats. Everything is shot tight to the field a la every CFL game to hide the blue seats, although you can still see the empty seats in the end-zone corners. Lots of room up in the 500's too. The only reason this wasn't blacked-out - according to the Reporters show this morning - was because the NFL didn't want it to be. Rogers gave away thousands of seats too. Well done Rogers. Well done Toronto. What a joke, and there's 7 more games in Toronto left. I'm glad that Buffalo got the money up-front.

It wasn't all Sam's fault though. Colangelo has a point guard that can't play D and he signed two back-ups that aren't ready for the NBA at this point. You have Bargnani hit-or-miss on any given night and Anthony Parker pretty much terrible shooting-wise. Sam is guilty of not getting Kapono more involved. However, add to that O'Neal getting injured and what you get is a giant mess. Triano won't be around for long though. And if the Raps don't get a proven good coach, they will have a really hard time signing Bosh.

I doubt this is related, but as of an hour or so ago, Rogers has started axing CityTv jobs, with the head of news escorted out of the building. There'll be cuts in the Jays organization too.
