  1. That's what it looks like. Suits me, working 6-2 today to get to the match. C'mon, Fulham! :content: Still, bad luck ollie.
  2. Agreed, good stuff. "I am not a gay, but if I was, or if I was a woman, which is similar, I would do David Beckham." Awesome. :content:
  3. Why would this end the thread? Am I missing something?
  4. Cool enough, then. Think yer nuts, but cool enough. :content:
  5. A serious question. Would you not take Terry as a central defender for Spurs? Tough to name many playing who are better or more valuable at the position. He may be a shitty husband, but hey, I didn't F**k him, and I dont need him as a role model, just as a defender. Didi is a piece of sh*t, and I'd love to replace him, but glad he's ours now. :content:
  6. 8-0. Yes, Wigan were down to 10 men, but still, 8??? That's the way to finish the year. Now then, FA Cup v Pompey next Saturday for the double. :content:
  7. Bork: verb To damage or disable something while performing your impression of The Swedish Chef. You're comedic gold today, Julia. Carry on. :content:
  8. I have no tips, but your post was brilliantly written, and I quite enjoyed reading it. Good luck. :content:
  9. nice result yesterday, ollie. Congrats, welcome to Champions League. Now, wouldn't it be great to pass Arsenal this weekend, and get the auto-spot, rather than qualifying? :content:
  10. sounds fun, nice venue. See you there. :content:
  11. Happy birthday, Brian. all the best. :content:
  12. As a Chelsea supporter, I expected better from Stevie G. That was pathetic. Still, one step closer, and the Lampard goal was nice. Next weekend should be interesting.
  13. The NME loves 'em. Therefore, I suspect that Shainhouse hates them. I haven't heard them. (What a poor contribution to this thread) :content:
  14. Looks pretty great. I'd love to be seeing Hawtin on Canada Day. Hope it goes well. :content:
  15. Oh, and Fulham being in the final of anything is awesome. Way to go, Hodgson. :content:
  16. This would make me happy, but I'm kinda looking at Benfica's Di Maria. Either way, though, gotta be more accurate than "Barn Door" Anelka.
  17. No shit!?!? Did you go there too? I was supposed to go to Mr. Stark's retirement party (one of my old classmates had informed me of it) but I couldn't make it. He was awesome. I had him the year that Italy won the World Cup in '82. We watched all the World Cup games that he could get on the TV that he rolled into the classroom. Beatles performances for school shows He taught us calligraphy. He'd get me to run up to Eglinton before lunch and grab him a sandwich from one of the restaurants (imagine that happening today ). I was at Oriole for Grades 4' date='5,6. Lived just down the street on Braemar. Also found out years later that Mrs. Kudo's daughter and I had a mutual friend in another small world incident. Kish was one of my best buddies when I was there too (gave him his knickname). He had some brief MuchMusic fame with this; He does a ton of voices for animated shows and is based in LA. Small world. Wild.[/quote'] Yup, Gr.2-6 for me, Grade 6 in 84 I think. I knew Andrew Kishino somewhat through other friends, but weren't close. Pretty funny when the "Rhyme the world" jam came out, and we all realized that it was him. Sorry this has nothing to do with religious points-of-view, and whether they're wrong or not.
  18. Whoa? You were at Oriole Park School? Freaking small world. I still see Mr.Stark in the neighbourhood from time to time. :content:
  19. Wouldve loved to, but busy tonight. Thanks, though, you are fantastic. :content:
  20. Uncertain, ollie. Scallywags is showing em both, so must be broadcast somewhere. maybe lfctoronto.com can help? (Liverpool fansite)
  21. You lot must be starting soon, huh? Another 3pm kickoff today?
  22. Still freaked the fvck out on day 2, having just watched it again. This may be my favorite video ever, with apologies to REM. Haven't decided yet.
  23. He/Bayern should win that appeal, methinks.
  24. Arjen Robben v Jose Mourinho. Best final for me that doesn't have Chelsea in it. Can't wait.
