    Grateful Fest

Sites on left, half way up where the road to the extra camp sites is and the couple of the sites prior that is where we were last year with Baj and those folks from Kentucky.joni and the others were up 5 sites on the same side .The map isn't to scale so the distance is a little stetched out more than it seems between sites.

    Grateful Fest

That is where Babs and her were last year,we were half way from there to the gate at a T intersection on the same side(with Baj and some others). Not sure where we will be they were twice as far from the stage, both have merit though.

  12. " "The Rainbow Family purposely poises itself on the brink of anarchy, that its gatherings attract dangerous and idle masses that overwhelm county and state services, disregard local communities, and destroy the natural resources the group claims to worship." The Forest Service Incident Management team cost federal taxpayers $750,000 in 2006, and the team handled the gathering in Colorado that year and other large events in National Forests. A similar gathering, The Burning Man Festival held each year in the Black Rock Desert of Nevada, pays the Bureau of Land Management $750,000 for a permit, and recoups the cost by charging attendees between $185 and $250" also these same areas have oil rigs logging also good thing they don't do any damage .The damage by gatherings is minimal ,don't believe the hype.Burning man is in a desert not near foiliage of any type, apples and oranges.
  13. Heading over to Waterloo park around 6,throw a frisbee ,boche ball ,instruments and places for the kids to play.any takers? Maybe we can shot with mace and paintballguns .
  14. The powers that be have been for the last 30 years trying to stop the Rainbow gatherings.they say a permit is needed for groups over a certain number to gather ,even though they are in national forest which are free to everyone.the reason there is not video footage is probably because as usual the Police attack in large numbers and the folks were taken by surprise also there is no power at the gatherings and batteries are at a premium.to think that the gathering is anywhere near civilization is a joke .the presense of Police in that number is obvious they have come to do excactly what the video footage claims.Gatherings are a wonderful thing and I hope they will always continue.
