Yeah, great movie. There was another thread about it a few months back. He's coming to Ottawa in a couple of weeks and I have tickets. I find some of his songs to be achingly beautiful in their honesty. Can't wait for the show.

I take it that you read "has" as "needs"? I decided last minute to simplify the trip and not bring my recording equipment. I was a puddle of goo by the end of the night so it was all for the best.

Fantastic show in Toronto Saturday night. It was the fulfillment of a dream to get to see David Nelson peform live and he didn't disappoint. Buddy Cage was awesome on the pedal steel. Cool little venue too. We couldn't have had better seats! And the band played every song I wanted to hear. If anyone has a copy of the show, please let me know. I also remembered how much I love Toronto. Killer city!! That just seems to indicate that recent tour soundboards aren't allowed to be uploaded to The Archive. I have no designs on doing that so I might still be in luck. I'm guessing I'd have a bigger problem getting the venue to agree.

Does the venue allow taping? Anyone know if someone's going to be taping? I have a MiniDisc player but no mic. Would a board patch be completely out of the question at a venue like this? I think NRPS would probably be cool with it as I have a number of soundboard recordings of theirs.

Which hotel are you guys staying at? I did a search on Priceline and it came up with hotels in Plattsburgh, NY!! What shitty timing.
