  1. Now on twitter: http://twitter.com/#!/charliesheen
  2. It was a scintillating half I'll give you that. Congrats mr. s.
  3. Thanks NW. Sheen sounds more together with each interview. Even Howard complained that he wasn't bringing the crazy.

I'm familiar with Franco. He's way better than that. He seemed so stiff, like he couldn't loosen up at all.
  5. Do I need an account to download this? Is it invite based?

Who else thought this was another Charlie Sheen thread?
  7. Thanks to a fortunate dental appointment I made it home in time for the 2nd half. Even had time for a walk in the woods. More like the 1st half please!
  8. Don't forget the hot sandwiches at Big D's: chicken spezza, parm, roast beef, meatloaf, etc. It's more than just deli meat.
  9. Live on Piers Morgan (CNN) right now.
  10. "I am on a drug. It's called Charlie Sheen. I have one speed. I have one gear. Go! I dare you to keep up with me."

I didn't say I wasn't going to watch next year. I still love the Oscars as a pop culture event. I don't really care who wins, it's a spectacle. It's also made 100 times more enjoyable with Twitter. Norm MacDonald wasn't the only one making fun.
  12. Christine picked up a couple of sandwiches for us on Saturday. We split the tuna salad and chicken club. Taste was good, nice integration of flavours and good value for money. Didn't wow me though. I still think DiRienzo's reigns supreme in the Ottawa sandwich market. Happy to have this option around though. A sandwich place on every corner is my dream.

I thought it was pretentious and heavy handed and poorly written and poorly acted... the direction was OK. The premise of the first few minutes held so much promise but it did not deliver. It almost felt like a TV movie to me. Saw Black Swan yesterday and was not that impressed. I normally dig that style of film but I didn't think there was much substance to the storyline and actually thought Portman was miscast. Not a bad film at all but just did not live up to my expectations. The Oscar telecast itself was horrid. People say that every year but I usually disagree with them. Not this time. Total choke job by James Franco. He looked stunned the whole time. Hathaway was better but not by much. The constant references to "I'm so young and this is so exciting for me" ruined any sort of illusion of grandeur a show like this is supposed to present. I thought she'd been around Hollywood long enough to do a pro job but apparently not. Bring back the old people next year. (But not Kirk Douglas.)
  14. Folks seem to forget that he also beat up his ex-wife. I'd be more amused by his behaviour if it wasn't for the numerous domestic violence charges.
  15. Congrats to Birmingham City! That was great.

I haven't seen a lot of this year's nominees. Watched The Social Network last night. It was good, better than I expected but not best picture quality. Although nothing will top Crash as the worst best picture winner so I won't be too pissed if it wins. Gonna try and squeeze in a viewing of Black Swan this afternoon.
  17. Am I completely in left field for getting a boy band vibe from The Great Bloomers? There was something very packaged about them. Huron were great but the lame crowd stifled my enjoyment somewhat. Too many facebook picture flashes going off. Should have got there earlier to get a better spot. Nice to have finally met you BWM! And GoodRev too. I apologize for my drunken rambling about how awesome Huron is.
