That's what I thought too. Roger sounded great but Pete looked lost. I wonder if nerves got to him. Still, it was pretty awesome hearing a whole stadium singing along with Baba O'Reilly and the light show was fantastic. I really enjoyed the performance. The west coast CBS feed was being simulcast by CTV but the east coast CBS feed wasn't so it had all the commercials. Between trying not to miss any of the game AND the commercials, it made dinner preparation a bitch. Overall I thought it was a good game, being in the balance until about the 5 minute mark of the 4th quarter. Not a classic but far from a dud.

Anyone have food plans for the big game? I'm looking at jambalaya recipes in honour of the Saints. Will also be cooking some chicken wings and maybe another dish or two. I've had a MacBook Pro in the house for the past 6 months and while it's definitely cool for software like iMovie and GarageBand, I find myself turning to the old PC when I need to "get stuff done". Mac's are great Velvet but don't let anyone convince you that you need one. You'll probably get the best price at a place like Future Shop or Best Buy because they price match but don't trust a word the sales drone says. Same goes for the in-house Apple guy. They're all sales people at the end of the day. I'd also advise strongly against getting the extended warranty.

As much fun as it is to make fun of the Beachball, Lalime probably won a couple of those Flyers series for the Sens. Didn't he set some crazy shutout record against them one year? The Sens let him down with their lack of goal production in some of those Leaf series as well.

Yeah, but what if the one time you're cheated you get Guillain-Barré Syndrome? I never said the vaccine does more harm than good, just thought it was worthwhile to post an anecdotal story of what can go wrong. Taylor Swift struck me as someone in dire need of stage polish. She came off more like an American Idol contestant than a professional musician. I found her complete lack of deference to Stevie Nicks appalling.
