  1. Good times! Can't wait to do it again! Here's a super short vid from the show: And a single photo:
  2. I felt old at school last year when most of the 60 classmates didn't know who Ed Sullivan was and then later on in the year NO ONE else knew who I was talking about when Corey Haim died.
  3. Any updates? I have a feeling the acoustic album isn't going to change your mind.
  4. I would be booking my flight right now!
  5. All acoustic yes. Announced? Not too sure. And don't worry; I guess they'll be giving a heads up before the gaga song so all the cool people can head outside and get more baked.
  6. Riley doesn't mind at all using the same party hats as last year!
  7. It's going to be a great night! The Black Box Theater is the perfect venue for an intimate acoustic Diesel Dog show. Plus, I can't wait to her their bluegrassy take on Gaga's Bad Romance that they've been working on!!
  8. Lady Gaga is only cool if listened to on vinyl.
  9. Like seriously? OMG!! That's like saying "If I wanted to learn about nuclear power I wouldn't come to a jambands message board." The title of the thread is quite clear. By the way, MMJ is basically Lady Gaga slowed down 10x with cavernous reverb added. I can imagine the first day your son comes home from school whistling the latest pop song and you sitting him down to have "the talk" about what is cool and not cool to listen to. Set that kid straight!
  10. She's awesome! You'll be a fan after I bet.
  11. Does anyone have experience running karaoke from PC laptop? Recommend software? Also I know with my desktop pc running XP I could run VLC in 'theater mode' which would display full screen on monitor 2 whatever was playing in VLC, even if vlc was minimized. Now with pc laptop running vista it's a no go. What up with that?
  12. Has anyone caught his stand-up act? I htink he's pretty funny on tv. May 1 - Grand Theater, London. April 16 - Centrepoint Theater, Ottawa
  13. Damn - where were you when I was in grade 8? Across town doing grade 6 stuff.
  14. Maybe if you had spelled it Kucherpekerov.
  15. Is that your pet name for Jaydawg?
  16. A friend is looking for such a job. She'll be moving to Ottawa Feb 19. Any leads would be appreciated.
  17. Here's the whole show: Link You can see your security guard friend looking all around at the balloons!
  18. I say if it's 100% uncomfortable and 0% funny he can stay home and roast himself in the mirror. That said, I'll give it another viewing sometime and see if any of that comedic genius comes across.
  19. Yeah, which would have resulted in 19,998 hot dogs being left behind on the floor! (Assuming Velvet ate your hot dog too!)
  20. I recently listened to all of David Sedaris' books. Some really funny moments and other moments too.
  21. I suppose I did miss that. I'd just gotten so used to laughing at the roasters that I was 'expecting' him to be funny.
  22. Hopefully his stand-up is better than his Bob Saget roast. That was baaad.
