Okay, the ticket search is off. Looks like we'll be leaving the area a few days early due to a death in my girlfriend's family. (grandpa) I guess there are more important things in the world than seeing J Mascis tmrw night!

So I frickin missed out on J Mascis tix. It was the only thing I was excited about doing. Any suggestions on how to get tickets to a sold out show? Dirt Boy, anyone? I suppose hanging around the venue might be my best bet..

Lucky Louie is funny stuff! Watch more than a couple episodes if you don't think so. His stand up Os about as funny as his drunken airplane tweets.

Great place though when it is only half full! That's why I only go to so-so shows there! Can't wait for Ratatat to come back!

If he was writing couldn't you just say he was simply holding his pen to the paper, since you couldn't see movement in the photo? A Crossword puzzle requires more thinking (and not about driving a train) than it does actually writing. I think I'll play some Angry Birds on the drive home today...

Isn't it impossible to show someone doing a puzzle (which requires movement) with a photo? I think there is sufficient evidence to conclude he is doing a crossword puzzle. I assume he considered the importance of the controls and carefully chose the placement of his paper as to not cover anything too important.

Yep, I'll have already left the windy city by the time it gets all blackhawky up in Oprahville. I'll be busy winning and sleeping all the way to Motown. Thanks for looking up the hockey schedule for me though... I was just going to hang around the arena around game time each night I was in town and ask around about if a game was going down or wheres abouts are some blues bars and jibaritos.

I'll be leaving before the puck drops.
