weezy
American Beauty and Workingman's Dead on random - even better. try rubbing-in some toothpaste on your scratched CD's and then wiping it off. That will fix most of the skipping. Also, clean your CD laser thingamajig with some rubbing alcohol and you'll be good to go.

Del
I love American Beauty, but my favorite Grateful Dead studio album has to be the 1967 album Grateful Dead: 1.The Golden Road (To Unlimited Devotion) (McGannahan Skjellyfetti) 2.Beat It On Down The Line (Jesse Fuller) 3.Good Morning, Little School Girl (H.G. Demarais) 4.Cold Rain And Snow (McGannahan Skjellyfetti) 5.Sittin' On Top Of The World (Jacobs/Carter) 6.Cream Puff War (Jerry Garcia) 7.Morning Dew (Dobson/Rose) 8.New, New Minglewood Blues (McGannahan Skjellyfetti) 9.Viola Lee Blues (Noah Lewis) Jerry sounds so alive on this album. The Golden Road & Morning Dew make this album a must own alone, never mind the nice mix of tracks that accompany them. Great cover art as well: A great album... MarcO
For my money, Workingman's Dead is superior to American Beauty, but it's kind of like judging which glorious sunset is the best.....
