SevenSeasJim
So I downloaded and installed the official FireFox browser and I love it. It even load this site faster than Internet Explorer 6. Here's the link if anybody else wants to try. FireFox
bouche
geez....you ain't kidding. The best part is ctrl-clicking thread/post links and having them open in the same window (tabbed). I wasn't a big fan of tabbed browsing, until I realized it kicks ass in forums! The speed thing is a little spooky...I'll keep my eye on that. SolarGarlic
Yep, GREAT browser. Ive been using the various incarnations of this thing for the last couple of years and havn't gone back to IE since. Glad to read that people are starting to get into it... bouche
the latest version of IE withing winXP sp2 has an integrated popup blocker. I'm sure IE will incorporate many of Firefox's features soon enough. RSS Feeds is a good one, and the option of tabbed browsing. That really seems to work well in forums and EBAY surfing! thatpatguy
Firefox has been my broswer of choice for the past year or so.. not only is it friendly and opensource.. but it's also web standards compliant (which probably doesn't mean anything to any one other than us web developer/designer types).. anyway.. glad so many people are jumping on the firefox bandwagon.. it's an awesome broswer!
