That being said, as long as you have archived your audio on high quality CDRs or DVDs the CDR brand you actually burn the audio on doesn't matter. They used to make Fuji before Fuji got cheap and outsourced the manufacturing to Taiwan and inferior discs. You can get spindles of Ty discs online at www.blankmedia.ca which is a Canadian company. Maybe I should stock up.As to whether it matters or not... I'd rather pay a bit more and be safe than sorry. Del Posted February 2, 2005 Report Share Posted February 2, 2005 Fujis stopped being produced in Taiyo Yuden for a short period of time... last I heard, which was this past summer, they are now being made there again... If it's a band I really like, I use TYs, everything else is usually Verbatims... Sonys are pretty good, go for it Basher... I also heard someone telling me that Kodaks are back? Is this verifiable? We've been burning for years and these are the most reliable discs with little to no disc errors/bad burns that I've come across lately. jay sanislo Posted February 8, 2005 Report Share Posted February 8, 2005 i beleive kodak is back there del..... I seen spindles in the store the other day, just not sure if they were dvd or cds. But im sure if they got one they have the other. Never tried them though. I usually go with memorex, usually about 16.99 for 30 or 35, never had a problem with these so far.
