Boochawan
wow - check out this lineup !! If I don't have to write exams then, I'll be headin' down to Nawlins...
TimmyB
Can't argue with that lineup, to be sure it would be a great festival to see. Specifically I have always wanted to see Randy Newman. Who doesn't perform all too often (minus the Oscars).
ike
Lineup looks great, this festival never dissapoints. And that's just the daytime schedule. The best part of jazzfest is the evening and latenight shows. Can't wait!
TheGoodRev
Wicked lineup, but after a glance, it looks like me like 200-some-odd roots musicians, oh, and Nelly. Nelly? WTF?
Boochawan
...and Nelly. Nelly? WTF? Yeah, I was a little weirded out when i saw that too...kinda sticks out like a really sore thumb...they should put one of Nelly's band-aids over...ahh nevermind, really bad joke ::
TonyRage
What do you mean Nelly WTF? Get with it man...Nelly is tha shiznit! I think I may have to go just for all the Neville projects. That and Toots!
paisley
wow, you're goin Ike? sweet... I've always wanted to do the New Orleans Jazz Fest much more than Mardi Gras... the line-ups are incredible, whole lot of classy old school mixed with lots of very fine more modern acts... $25 advance for a weekend pass is pretty tough to beat for all that action
ike
Not sure if I'm going, but I'd really like to. Last year was a blast. I've heard a few others show interest so maybe could get a crew to go down?
paisley
I'm half way through court, if all goes well April 13 I might just be up for it (though I know thats leaving it kinda late)... have wanted to for many a year... will have my people talk to your people ::
Blane
Looking good so far. I'd like to see what Superfly brings to the table, and if I'm sold on the "solidity" of the lineup, I think this'll be my year. Planning on being happily unemployed at that point! Booche
Hey Jaimoe, are you going to complain about that lineup because you are a 'jazz-purist' or some kind of a 'heritage-purist'
