Basher
Does anyone have this? I currently have the Internet Express, which has max download and upload speeds of 3 Mbps 384 Kbps respectively, while the Extreme version is 5 Mbps and 800 Kbps. Just wondering if anyone has experience with this that they would like to share?

bouche
we have Videotron Exteme in quebec and it's freakin' fast. I've seen downloads come very close to 1000 KB/sec It's probably similar technology.
Esau
I don't have expirence with the Internet Express or the "extreme version" you speak of but I know my cable company (Source Cable/Quick Clic) offers 6Mb download/upload as its regular (basic) internet package. CyberHippie
If you are thinking about upgrading, something to keep in mind is that Rogers is going to be implementing a new bandwith cap very soon. You'll have a max bandwith of 60gb for the month, that includes uploads and downloads. If you go over 3 times, they'll suspend your service. 60gb a month is a fair amount, but that's still bullsh!t. dave-O
I love when the Terms and Conditions agreement says they can change the Terms and Conditions at any time. bullsh!t indeed.
Basher
Not too worried about the 60GB thing - I think 2 gigs a day is pretty fair
