Blane
Check out the market at the corner of Somerset and Cambridge in Chinatown. I forget the name, but it's got a red sign. I remember them having good prices (and a nice variety of interesing eats).
rubberdinghy
Real Canadian Superstore in Westbrah is really good on prices...however thier produce gets picked over pretty good so I usually head to Herb and Spice on Wellington for that stuff...reasonably priced! Freak By Night
I find all of the major grocery stores in town are pretty much the same. You gotta check the weekly flyers, see what is on special, and shop around. If you have wheels, and several major stores in your area, this strategy will save you a quite bit of money. gentlemonkey
Theres a place at Hampton Park Mall, called Brian's Food Basics. And its definitley the cheapest in town. It's also a bit of a sess-pool, but the savings are there! congrats on the mini-main!
Sunshine
I agree with Rubberdinghy....The Loblaws in Westboro has some of the best prices in town! STAY AWAY FROM THE one close to you!! It does suck and prices are ridiculous!! Congrats Guys!
bouche
yeah, the Super C and the Maxi in Hullhave ridiculously cheap prices. I wouldn't go there for meats or produce so much, but once in a while when you grab 3 for $5 pineapples from there, you think "what a BARGAIN"
voodoolady
I agre with gm. The food basics from what I hear has the lowest prices. But I would stick to canned goods and stay away from the produce sections.
