Im going home Donny
Red Rock canyon seems very close. Bryce canyon I personally can reccomend....unforgettable, mind blowing, scenery but 4 hours NE of Vegas in Utah. Google Bryce canyon you might be tempted. Kaidy Mae
My folks saw O this winter and said it was amazing. Definitely worth checking out. Red Rock Canyon is very close (if you have a car). There are camping/bike trips you can do there. Don't be freaked out by the wild burros and horses (if you get a peak at them). Head down to Fremont St. (the oldschool Vegas). There are mini casinos where you can by drinks by the yard. There are like 30 slushy machines with premixed cocktails in them. I think they were $4. Extra shots were $1 each. The best one I saw was right near the Golden Nugget (to the west on the south side). Good times. Also a good place if you're looking for a trippy sky. The last time I was there all of the casinos in that neck of the woods had the same glassware. People just stroll from place to place, gettin' sauced along the way. Circus Circus is scary on psychedelics. There's a wicked buffet brunch at the Flamingo as well. You can dine amongst penguins and flamingos. The Bellagio is a sight to behold (and also where many second tier celebs like to check out ). On the hour they play music and the fountain dances. Sooooo cool, especially when Singin' In the Rain and other nostalgic, rat packish stuff is played. I haven't been to the rollercoaster on the top of the Stratosphere, but I hear it's fucking insane. Good thing for a thrill seeker if you're out of blow and the hookers are all busy. I can't stress this enough, WEAR COMFORTABLE SHOES. I averaged about 10 miles a day of walking while I was there. No joke! Also not a good idea to get caught with buds in Nevada. Last I heard they had a mandatory minimum of 20 years. Have a great trip!

PalacePrincess
2nd vote for circus circusalso, be sure to hit up a $4.99 steak & lobster buffet (they are everywhere)and if you can, DEFINITELY go & see cirque du soleil. i think they even have more than one production going on there right now. oh, and in addition to comfortable shoes, if you are going to be outside for any period of time during daylight hours, bring water to drink and protection from the sun (hat, or at the very least, sunscreen). i've been to vegas in august.... it was 50 degrees C.enjoy the FREE booze flowing through all the casinos! Basher
Yep - when you want to get good a liquored up hit up an older casino and play $1 blackjack. Also, everything in Las Vegas looks a lot closer than it actually is - so the comfortable shoes suggestion is a good one. There is also a monorail now that goes all the way from MGM Grand to the Stratosphere. backbacon
Get liquored up and go up to your room and have crazy sex with your wife. I don't wanna hear about it though; what happens in Vegas STAYS in Vegas! Heck, maybe you could take in an afternoon wedding in the desert or something when you're there!
