SmoothedShredder
Huzah! Spezza-Vermette-Scheafer would make a great line, Fisher-Neil-Schubert would be scary, especially with Volchecov and Phillips on D... 4th line of Eaves-McAmmond-McGratton/Hamel/Comrie Who The fuck cares! Maybe my pre-season preminission of 3 lines of terror is destined!! Oh yeah!... but I digress. Big ups to the Montreal fans who came prepared with paper bags! Nice "goal" by Vermette on the breakaway where his stick snapped at the bend, his blade went into the net (5 hole), and the puck went to the corner. Say hi to Boiler Rat for me Booche! Be gentle! Sorry I won't be at Nero tonight, I have to get this bandwagon ready... I'm expecting company!

Booche
That's because it didnt happen. Jaimoe had some fun under my login. The gloves are officially off. I took it easy on him before, he is in for a surprise.Still Brad, I am open to any possibilities.
ollie
Wow. How the hell does this happen? I'm stunned. On the slippery surface, the Senators were near perfect yesterday. On the video scoreboard, however, they committed a major faux pas. During a first-period stoppage in a skit promoting the team's Hockey Night in Barbados fan contest, Spartacat forced a fellow wearing a Montreal Canadiens jersey to jump off a ship. Most any other game, against any other opponent, and the pre-taped schtick might have been mildly amusing. But with the Habs in town, it was extremely distasteful. On Dec. 8, Bob Gainey's daughter Laura was swept off the deck of a ship in the Atlantic Ocean. Her body was never found.Full Story

Booche
In a weird way, this actually makes the Leafs look better. I am utterly stunned.
Freak By Night
Went to the Sens/Caps game last night. They did a great job shutting down Ovechkin, although he did have a few nice shots. The real test will be Thursday night against the Canucks. The Senators and the Canucks are probably the two hottest teams in the league right now.

badams
I was at the game last night too. I was really hoping for Ovechkin to light it up and see some highlite type goals. Sadly he did not. I saw him do some incredible stuff in the practise though. That dude is very talented.
Del
I was at the game as well and was a little disappointed to not have a few more highlight reel Ovechkin moments... That said, I thought we looked pretty good and I'll definitely take the win.

SmoothedShredder
The Habs schooled us in our own building. The Sens have so much talent and very little character.Seriously, the halls of the Scotiabank Place roared like I've never heard them before. You'd think the Canadiens had just knocked us out the playoffs.Maybe they did.WTF!!! I'm calling out fickle Sens fans. This is their year... and it would of been their year long ago if they had fans as loyal and Leaf and Hab fans. The Sens have Character in Spades. Just look at them now! SmoothedShredder
Tyler Arnason would be 4th on team scoring right now (based on his Colorado stats) if he were playing in Ottawa. Isnt that interesting? No.
phorbesie
me and V went as well, seems like we were all there! damn it was cold out. the refs sure are fast to break up any potential fun fights...boo i wish i could go to the canucks game tonight.
