CyberHippie
Unfortunate venue, you'll pay a lot and it'll sound like crap.Soulive opener is pretty sweet though!
headygouda
Soulive is not worth $66.50 USD. Yikes. I can't believe I paid $15 to see dave my first time. Though I suppose most of his fans were only in kindergarten then.

CyberHippie
Wow... I've been on the floor twice and the nosebleeds once and all three time it was completely awful. Maybe there is a sweet spot somewhere.
Jaimoe
It depends on the band and the configuration - plus a suitable and thorough soundcheck. I thought the sound for Roger & Pete from a few year's back was really good, with bass a little low - not suprising given the Ox's death. When the ACC switches to the Sears Theatre, the sound has been good too. Down From The Mountain, The Strokes, Ben Harper and... Tori Amos, all had excellent sound.
CyberHippie
I agree the sears theatre sound for Ben Harper was quit nice, although way too loud. But sounded crisp.Anyone see DMB there the last time? Or U2 a couple years back? Or Neil Young, last greendale show? Was the sound good where you were seated? Basher
Neil Young sounded good. I was 7th row floor or sumpin.

The sound where we were was horrendous. We couldn't make out a SINGLE WORD Neil was singing until 3/4 of the way through!
MarcO
Greendale sounded fine for me.U2 sounded good last Friday once they got the sound dialed in. Also, we were in the nosebleeds so I am sure it sounded much better lower in the bowl.
MarcO
ok.... so tickets for this show are $64 & $76 + "service charges" (on sale Friday, btw).um...... I don't think so. Thanks anyway, DMB.
AD
U2 sounded good last Friday once they got the sound dialed in.Didn't U2 rehearse at the ACC for a week and play 4 shows as well? They still didn't have the sound figured out?AmateursAD
MarcO
I was in the nosebleeds - maybe it was more a matter of me getting "dialed in".yes, the show was very amateurish.
