Booche Posted November 7, 2005 Report Share Posted November 7, 2005 Panthers cheerleaders reportedly arrested Two Carolina Panthers cheerleaders were arrested early Sunday morning at a Tampa nightclub after an incident that reportedly began with the two of them having sex. The Charlotte Observer initially reported that a police report indicated Kristen Owen, 22 and Angela Keathley, 26, were arrested after an incident at Banana Joe's in the city's Channelside district. One cheerleader was charged with battery, the other with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.According to the Observer, the police report claims the two cheerleaders were having sex with each other in a stall at the bar when other patrons got angry they were taking so long in the bathroom. Booche Posted November 14, 2005 Author Report Share Posted November 14, 2005 Andrew Siciliano Filling In For Van SmackIf you didn’t hear this story, you’ve been under a rock or stuck watching that stupid West Wing debate.Allegedly two cheerleaders for the NFL Carolina Panthers were having sex in a bar bathroom stall and arrested after they assaulted a girl in the bathroom.Anyway, the one with the nose has released a comment through her lawyer that said there was no sex between the two cheerleaders. His client said she became emotional when she ran into her ex in the bar. Apparently they’re claiming that when her emotions got the best of her she ran into the bathroom to cry. Then the blonde followed her into the stall to comfort her.Is this statement the whitewashing of their naughty night or just the correction of what actually took place? How does this guy have a writing job?In the US, cheerleaders are seen as role models for young girls with their clean-living image and responsible code of conduct.The event has caused some serious shame in Charlotte which is a medium-sized "all-American" city with aspirations to greatness, a big financial industry and several massive churches almost as big as the football stadium.All in all, Topcat or wild cat, cheerleading is a sure way for a woman to make a name for herself in America.
