bradm
Yup, that's "Tom's Diner". The one most people know, though, isn't the original, which was done a capella, and (IIRC) wasn't released as a single. DNA took the song, added some beats behind it, re-mixed it, and it became a hit.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tom%27s_DinerAloha,Brad

Forgive me. Britney is another one of those people who, try as I might, I just can't help being attracted to.

StoneMtn
I've been a fan of Raffi's "Baby Beluga" ever since I saw him live about 23 years ago.Beat that.(A legal assistant caught me listening to Raffi in my office a couple months ago. Just my luck, she's a Mom and knew exactly who it was. )
Dr_Evil_Mouse
Beat that. OK, you win - even our kids shudder when they hear Raffi . (Not quite true, really - our oldest started singing Bananaphone the other day, and she had absolutely no idea why I started laughing. Confound the links on this board!) hamilton
time after time - cindy lauperthere I said it.Nothing to be ashamed of there - just because Cyndi Lauper was a ding-dong doesn't mean that "Time After Time" wasn't a beautiful song.
