dave-O
I haven’t had a minute to write anything up about last weekend’s show, so...Dave-o’s comprehensive one-word review: fanfreakingtastic! The Marquee is a nice room, but was the wrong venue for a subtle show like this. Feist was a very captivating performer with interesting accompaniment like flugelhorn, xylophone and vocal loops.A nice added bonus was Julie Doiron playing bass with opening act Shotgun & Jaybird. AD
someday i will marry julie doiron and we will have a beautiful life together. i'll even let jon live in the back shed or something.feist is tomorrow night in ottawa, haven't decided if i'm gonna go or not. 2005 was pretty feist-y for me, not sure if i need to see her again quite so soon.ad
bradm
I think Peter Elkas is opening up for Feist in Ottawa, if that makes a difference. I liked his set a lot last weekend at Mavericks.Aloha,Brad
